In comparison with the rest of racing management games, My Racing Career offers you a different experience, since you do not get into the job of a team principal as usual, but you have to become THE driver (not driving, though). You begin as an unknown youngster and as a combination of training, racing and taking good decisions, your task is to become the best driver in the world. MRC offers a big portfolio of season series to race on, all of them split into 3 different career paths: circuit racing, motorcycles and rallies, of course, with series going from highest tier (F1, Moto1, WRS) to lowest (F4, Moto3 Junior, WRS Junior and regional rally series), going through some of the biggest championships in real life (Indy, Formula E, NASC Gold Cup, DTWS, Porsche Supercup or V8 Supercars, among others). Even though it is a driver manager game, there is some team management feature in Formula 1 teams. F1 consists of 15 different structures which develop new cars, engines and aero parts every year, get money after negotiating with sponsors, and have their own employee squad, where 2 user-managed drivers are included. Probably, this is a complement to patience in the driver career and also a new challenge where users need to cooperate to make their team the best one on the grid. Overall, My Racing Career is a very acceptable racing management simulation game. It could probably have bigger depth, both on driver and team management. I am sure you will be able to enjoy and, in the meantime, make some new friends in your way to become the best.
